Stuff

Things are always a little crazy at our house and I just don't seem to have time to blog very much lately.  I find myself reading about a lot of things and worrying about them, instead.  Between worrying about stuff going on at our own house and school or the state of the country and world, and worrying about crazy things like the animals running around Zanesville or about the fate of bats and bees and coffee and chocolate, I find myself feeling really down about the state of everything.  Yes, that sentence might not have made any sense.  Sorry.  Sometimes I just need to step away from everything and focus on the things I have power over.  Today I was looking through our recent photos and it cheered me up.  Then, we got great news from school (that is an entirely different blog post), so I am feeling good today.

We have been coloring, reading, dinosaur-playing, Lego-building fools lately.  Aidan is still either taking photos or asking me to take photos of specific things, so a lot of these photos are a result of that.  I can't wait until Santa brings him his camera!!

Beautiful family, congratulations! I imagine the happiness of Aidan taking pictures with his own camera lol
I was like you worrying about foolish things. Your post reminded me that I am not alone, that is obvious but I forget from time to time. I remembered a poem by a writer from my country, I tried to translate and do not know if it was good but would like to share it.

That's life, heats and cools,
tightens and then relaxes,
stills and then restless.
What life wants the people is courage" GuimarĂ£es Rosa
